Some think that after filming then thats it, but in fact that is only the beginning. The raw footage has to be assembled into the right order. and the correct angles chosen to achieve the best flow. Voice overs need to be done and changes made to the clips to fit in. The filmstock has to be colur graded to make it all look the same, and the sound needs to be balanced so none is too loud or too soft. Titles and effects have to be created and finally the product has to be rendered so that it is not too big or too samll that it can be seen on different media. Sometimes we need to make portrait and a Square and landscape versions of the same film. No wonder the editing takes much longer than the filming.
